  The Swiss Bear Restaurant should seriously consider changing the name of their establishment. This is because they do not meet the requirements to be considered a "restaurant". In a restaurant, you order food and it is prepared for you and served to your table. At the Swiss Bear Building we ordered food and never received anything. After an hour and a half of waiting we inquired about the whereabouts of said food and they said we had to wait longer as there were still people ahead of us to serve so we decided to leave. We came to the Swiss Bear looking for a good meal and left feeling the same way.

  Hidden gem in a remote area. We were attracted after driving by to the nice exterior and sign as it stood out so we stopped on the way home. Went on a cold winter day so not too busy, we were served quickly and the food was great with really nice presentation! We ordered a schnitzel sandwich with rostie (Swiss hash browns) , and French onion soup and fries, all were very good although slightly under salted. Also bought butter tarts and cannot wait to try them. What we liked the most was that the owner Lori spent about 10 minutes talking with us and telling us about the area and her family. She was so friendly and kind, we felt so welcome talking to her! Thank you Swiss Bear!

  Amazing food and service. A great place to stop for a nice big meal after camping all weekend. Highly recommend!!!
